About the Programme
The SC/ST Sub-Plan Programme implemented at ICAR institutions, including Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), is a special initiative aimed at the socio-economic upliftment of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities through scientific fisheries and allied sector interventions. The scheme promotes livelihood improvement, skill development, and entrepreneurship among SC/ST farmers, fishers, and rural youth across Kerala.
